General Management
Here, you'll find some of our most exciting schemes in HBOS Retail. Join us and you could be working in Cards, Loans, Advisory Sales, Employee Equity Solutions or Birmingham Midshires.
What you'll be doing
You'll spend time in different teams to learn more about their functions and responsibilities. Together, the teams are responsible for the research, development and delivery of all new consumer products within HBOS Retail. We'll also ask you to work on a range of different projects that influence our progress, so you can rest assured your contributions will be valued.
Your development
Not only will you have a development programme tailored to your interests and ambitions, you'll receive more formal training alongside graduates from other schemes. In addition to building your technical knowledge, you'll also focus on relationship building and presentation skills. Your mentor will offer you the guidance you need to make the most of your talents.
What you'll achieve
As you progress, you'll be able to choose the development opportunities or qualifications that are right for you. As part of a varied and constantly changing setting, we'll encourage you to combine technical knowledge with the personal courage to lead.
After two years' in the scheme, you'll have a solid background in project and stakeholder management as well as in analysis and working with people. All in all, you'll probably be ready to take on a senior team management role.
