The culture here is practical and team–oriented. "I'm in the Retail Risk Graduate Scheme. Here, our key aims are to ensure robust management strategies from a regulatory perspective. We never lose sight of the importance of customer service or the need to minimise operational risk. The culture is down–to–earth, and everyone, including the senior management, is approachable and willing to support those of us on the scheme. Right now, I'm working as part of the project management team on an initiative designed to improve operational management. I'm responsible for different technical and analytical tasks that help drive plans forward."

"My job encourages me to work on different tasks all the time, so the challenges are constantly changing."

Building important skills. "there's both internal and external training on offer. So, I've developed skills that are important to my success. I've benefited from both technical training and improved communication and time management skills. Knowledge of our products is also important and I've certainly learned a lot. There are really two distinct career paths that I can choose from. The first is becoming a Manager within Risk and acting as a Risk Consultant for the business. The other is developing as a Project Manager."
